The Shure PGX2/SM86 is a PGX2 handheld transmitter fitted with the SM86 microphone capsule for use with the PGX4 receiver. This does not include the receiver.

The SM86 with the PGX2 transmitter features the SM86 cardioid condenser microphone head with an extended high frequency response. As a condenser microphone you can expect vocal reproduction with perfect clarity.

The transmitter has automatic setup features, a single power/mute switch and an LED indicator showing power, mute and battery status. 2 x AA batteries (not included) gives you 8 hours of continuous use and it has an operating range of 92m. It works with the the PGX4 receiver.

This transmitter requires the PGX4 receiver to complete the system.
