Combat Aircrew badges are awarded to Marines who serve as aircrew members on board combat flights. The badge has room for small star pins at the top. These pins indicate the number of combat missions that Marine has served in.

This 1/16-inch gold star is made to fit in the standard aircrew badge. It features beveled details and a reliable closure. This pin may be used as a replacement for a Marine who has earned the right to wear it.
