Body metabolism and fat loss part III
Physical activity is basically the amount of energy use in our daily activity that may include: work recreations, exercise, house work and so on. If someone is more active he or she will burn more energy TEF is responsible for energy use in digesting and absorbing the nutrient in which obviously depend on meals composition. When someone is over eat the TEF will increase as more food need to be digest that of course will need the energy to digest it. Up to here is a bit complicated that make metabolism is very interesting topic to learn. However, if you understand what is going in your body, then you will more concern with type and amount of food you consume everyday. Thi is obviously beneficial for those who are on diet program as they will understand the reson of such program.
Just for example, 3.500 calories is equal tone pounds. If someone consumes 3.500 more calories than normal, the person concern will not gain one pound as TED is accounted for, but if 3.500 calories were cut if he or she try to loose weight the TED would be decrease as there is fewer nutrient to process. The result the energy expenditure would decrease, that’s mean the person concern will loss less than one pound in weight. It is easy to say that cutting out too much food, TEF cannot work as it was design to do so. Still you should understand that you cannot eat around junk food as you need to consume healthy food. If you are not eating actually you are working against your body in fighting weight gain. That is not the other way around.
Lastly, the RMR is the number of calories needed by the body to run the important body function, …to continue in part IV
